Hi, I’m Greg, also known in the DCUO community as The Gingerbread Man. I’ve been playing DC Universe Online since day one, and I’ve been a huge fan of DC Comics since I was four years old. My love for DC runs deep, I even have several DC-themed tattoos. I started my YouTube channel in 2012 and began creating DCUO content in 2016.
My channel focuses on building a positive and welcoming community, helping new players learn the game, and sharing build guides, gameplay tips, walkthroughs, and livestreams with the DCUO community. My goal has always been to create a space where players of all experience levels can learn, have fun, and enjoy DCUO together. My name is Slade, also known as SladePiruz both on Twitch and some of the other social media platforms.
I’m an Italian Content Creator deeply passionate about the world of superheroes and storytelling, and I’m truly honored to be part of the Creator League for DC Universe Online.
I mainly create DCUO content through live streams on Twitch, but I also create videos, and short-form content... with the goal of entertaining, improving, and building a strong connection with the DC Comics Community.
DCUO is not just a game for me, it’s a universe full of possibilities, stories, and identities that I love exploring and sharing.
In-game, I have two main characters, which are called SladeXenox (PC Platform) and SladeDream (Nintendo Platform). On both sides, I’m known as “The Cosmic”, a name that represents something beyond a simple character… something greater, something connected to the very fabric of existence.
As I like to say: “I am the Universe… and the Universe is me.”
But I wasn’t always like this.
Beyond streaming, I’m also working on a free fanfiction project inspired by the DCUO universe, called “Dream – Chronicles of a Hero”, where I tell the story of my couple of characters, combining elements from the game with original characters and ideas from my imagination.
My goal is to expand this project into storytelling content in the future and bring even more depth to the universe I love.
